On January 21–22, 2026, Rock City Reentry’s Program Manager attended a two-day Roundtable Discussion hosted at the Regional U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) building in Dallas, Texas. The gathering brought together DOL staff and two additional program operators from Oklahoma and New Mexico for meaningful dialogue focused on best practices, compliance expectations, and emerging priorities within federally funded workforce and reentry initiatives.
Participating in this roundtable was both professionally valuable and personally affirming. Hearing directly from DOL leadership about monitoring priorities, documentation expectations, and program integrity reinforced the significance of the work we do each day. These conversations confirmed that strong case documentation, participant-centered service delivery, and thoughtful program design are not merely compliance requirements — they are safeguards that protect opportunity, dignity, and second chances for the individuals we serve.
This experience strengthened our commitment to ensuring Rock City Reentry continues to operate with excellence, integrity, and intentionality. The insights gained will directly inform ongoing enhancements to policies, staff training, internal processes, and program delivery as we launch Pathway Home 6.
By remaining actively engaged with national and regional partners, Rock City Reentry continues to position itself as a leader in reentry workforce development and a strong advocate for second chances and meaningful employment opportunities. We will continue to advocate for our participants, strengthen our systems, and ensure our work reflects the highest standards of quality and impact.
