Dislocated Worker Eligibility
Under the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA), the Little Rock Workforce Development Board (LRWDB) and Little Rock Workforce Center offer dislocated worker services for individuals who have been subject to:
- Layoff off from a job
- Notice of termination or layoff letter due to permanent closure
- Job loss due to office or plant downsizing
- Dislocation as a dependent following a spouse’s job loss
- Displacement as a homemaker

The Little Rock Workforce Center can help you find a suitable new job through targeted job placement and training services, including:
- Pre-layoff services
- FREE Job training programs
- Community resources
- Outplacement services
- Company-specific services
Arkansas Job Link (AJL)
The Little Rock Workforce Center and Arkansas Department of Workforce Services use Arkansas JobLink (AJL) to assist dislocated workers in finding employment opportunities. Using AJL self-service features, you will be able to create your own Job Seeker Account that will give you the ability to:
- Conduct a job search
- Build an on-line resume
- Register with job service
- Receive emails on new job openings
- Access additional details and jobseeker services
