On September 16, 2026 the Little Rock Workforce Development Board (LRWDB) Executive Director, W. J. Monagle, was informed by the Department of Labor (DOL) that Pathway Home 6 (PH6) program services are approved to resume the first full week of October 2026.
The DOL’s national grant office has approved program services to proceed forward with the Arkansas Construction Education Foundation (ACEF) as the new program operator.
Grant operations are scheduled to continue with 33 participants enrolled to date and a continued commitment to enroll and serve a total of at least 400. The PH6 initiative will collaborate with the Hidden Creek Reentry Facility, Omega Supervision Sanction Unit, an Arkansas Community Correction facility for male parole and probation violators, and the East Arkansas Community Correction Facility, which accommodates female parole and probation violators statewide, along with Pathway to Freedom, Inc., a 501(c)(3) non-profit providing voluntary housing for inmates from the Arkansas Department of Correction.
The ACEF expect to hire back most, if not all, of the previous staff members who were able to perform beyond expectations under previous Pathway Home and Reentry Employment Opportunities (REO) grants.
The LRWDB has built a successful nine-year partnership through the Rock City Reentry Project (RCRP), which has received funding three times from the Reentry Employment Opportunity Program of the Employment and Training Administration. Since its inception in 2017, RCRP has assisted over 662 individuals in reintegrating into the community.
