On October 24 the Little Rock Workforce Development Board (LRWDB) received final approval for an Incumbent Worker Training Grant for four employees at Essick Air Products.
This grant award represents the first Incumbent Worker Training Grant and the first grant application made through the LRWDB’s new Salesforce platform.
Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) is designed to meet the needs of an employer or group of employers to retain a skilled workforce. IWT programs can be used to increase the skill levels of employees so they can adapt to changing technologies or work practices and remain competitive in the workplace.
