The Little Rock Workforce Development Board (LRWDB) celebrates all 11 graduates who completed the last step in their Future Fit program on December 3, 2024. This was the final graduation at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility (PCRDF) for the Pathway Home (PH3) grant.
Raegan Sharp of Congressman French Hill’s office was in attendance representing the congressman’s office.
The Future Fit program equips participants with skills such as understanding blueprints, machine operations, safety and OSHA certifications and interpersonal skills. It was developed by the Arkansas Economic Development Commission in partnership with local manufacturers. Certification is received before release which allows each participant to easily apply for local jobs with skills and certification that will increase employability.
The Rock City Reentry Program’s Pathway Home 3 initiative was intended to help 100 participants benefit from Reentry programming services and the Future Fit program (or another similar accredited program) while incarcerated at the Pulaski County Regional Detention Facility.
