The Little Rock Workforce Development Board (LRWDB) held a training session for new and existing board members on October 24, 2024, 9:00-10:30 AM. The training session was preceded by a breakfast networking event for board members to get to know each other and exchange ideas.
Board training covered a variety of topics, including: Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act, DWS Board Orientation, Organizational By-Laws, and Local 4-Year Plan. Board members also received helpful resources like board contact lists, organizational charts, and a 2025 board meeting schedule.
Each board member signed an Acknowledgement of Training to verify that he or she completed self-guided training segments or attended the in-person/virtual training session.
