On March 28 and 29, staff members from Equus Workforce Solutions and the Little Rock Workforce Development Board (LRWDB) attended the Incarceration: Recidivism, Reentry, and Reunification (iR3) Conference on Petit Jean Mountain.
The event was hosted by the Restore Hope Initiative-100 Families and the Winthrop Rockefeller Institute to discuss alternate sentencing at the District Court level.
The Restore Hope Initiative – 100 Families is a community-led initiative to help families move from crisis to career using existing community resources by engaging community partners in an alliance, training agencies on a collaborative case management system, and recruiting case managers to respond when a family is in crisis.
The Winthrop Rockefeller Institute hosts conferences and meetings at their campus facilities to provide an environment for collaborative work across business, education, government, and nonprofit sectors.
