On November 13, four staff from ResCare Workforce Services, the Little Rock Workforce Development Board (LRWDB) and Central Arkansas Planning and Development District (CAPDD) attended the Annual Arkansas Women’s Business Luncheon. The three groups also jointly provided a table display at the event, which took place at the Little Rock Marriott hotel.
The event featured Entergy Arkansas President and CEO, Laura Landreaux, as keynote speaker. Ms. Landreaux shared an inspirational story of the journey that brought her to her current leadership role. She recounted lessons learned through her experience in resource planning, economic development, employee development, and governmental affairs.
This annual event is hosted by the Little Rock Regional Chamber of Commerce and is designed to highlight “the critical role that women play in our community and to our economy.”
