On August 4, 2016 Arkansas Children’s Hospital hosted the graduation ceremony for training provider MedLinc, Inc.‘s largest class of Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to date. The Little Rock Workforce Development Board’s Executive Director, W. J. Monagle, and Arbor E&T Project Director, Farrah Hammond, were in attendance.
Graduation events like these represent significant career milestones for job seekers in the healthcare sector. As part of the nursing care team, a CNA works under the direction of a licensed nurse to perform basic patient care activities. A CNA is a leading healthcare profession with excellent projected continue job growth. The CNA role is also a great stepping stone to obtain a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license.
