You’re invited to attend the Comeback Kitchen event this Monday, July 7, 6-8 p.m.
Comeback Kitchen—A Pop-Up Rock & Restaurant Event Benefiting Food Jobs Work!
Join us for a casual evening of rock and (pop up) restaurant, celebrating 100 graduates of Food Jobs Work. Our chef instructor Michael Easley and our recently-graduated 13th cohort students are serving up a five-course, farm-to-table, small plate experience that will rock your world. The soundtrack will be alt-rock hits from Aurora the Band, with a little flavor added as we give an insider’s look into our plans for North Little Rock and how you can be a part of our story. Tickets are $50, including all food and soft drinks. Alcoholic beverages and specialty non-alcoholic mocktails will be available for purchase.
Food Jobs Work is a culinary workforce development organization, changing the lives of underemployed adults and youth through culinary (and soon, barista and agriculture) workforce training. Our students have experienced challenges such as justice involvement, poverty, homelessness, addiction or abuse. We empower them with work skills that are desperately needed by our communities, as well as the knowledge that they are capable, worthy and deserving of better days. Many of our 100 graduates are now managers and chefs—leading others and making well above average wages, and lifting their families into new generational wealth.
Every ticket sold helps us lift up more Arkansans into meaningful work with a livable wage. Buy yours today!
Doors open at 5 p.m., get there early for best seating.
